i knew it would happen at least once...

I work at a clothing store. I open fitting rooms for people. I knock, and if no answer, I start to unlock the door. Usually when I get to that point, if there is someone actually in there, they will say something before I unlock it all the way.

Not tonight.

I go to get a fitting room for this lady. I knock on the door, no response. I start to unlock the door, no response. (Whenever I open the doors I look through the inside crack to see if clothes were left in to take out.) I saw clothes so I start to walk in and THERE IS A BOY STANDING THERE JUST LOOKING AT ME. I say sorry and just let the door slam. Of course my face goes beet red and I go on to open another room.

WHY DIDN'T HE SAY ANYTHING AT ALL?? Not even when I started to crack the door open. HELLO???? hahaha. I laughed so hard after I walked away from the rooms. At least he had all his clothes on. He was just trying on jackets, so it wasn't TOO embarrassing.

So next time you're in a fitting room and someone knocks, respond. It will save some pregnant woman embarrassment from seeing you in your toonies. :)

3 more

weeks.

This is last week at 36. I don't think I'm gonna be able to handle waiting 3 more weeks! This is like Christmas. I can't wait any longer!! and I don't want to get any bigger. I'm done growing. Done.

I have a few things I'm trying to get done before he comes. All these ideas I have got from ladies bringing in their babies to Downeast.
#1- The rag quilt. It's not quite as frayed as I would like but that will come with washing.

Still working on: (and pictures to come when they're done:)
#2 Decorating his room.
#3 A car seat cover. We got a car seat off KSL and I didnt like the animal pattern, so I'm making my own.
#4 A car seat tent cover thing.
#5 Blinds for his room.
MAYBE a #6 One of those nursing cover thingys.

28

Seth is an old man. 28;)
His birthday was last Monday. A lot of my family was here on Sunday where we had dinner and a lil party for him. I wanted to try and pull of a surprise party on Monday night with some of his closest friends that were still around this area. I really thought he would somehow catch on or find out. I think he's like me in the sense where he likes surprises but if he can find out what it is, he will.
Well, he didnt:) I told him I was going to take him out to dinner for his birthday but we had to go at a certain time because he had a ball game that night. I was going to have everyone upstairs waiting while he was downstairs getting ready. Well right when I got home he was upstairs with my dad helping him put together my parents entertainment center. So I told him not to go downstairs until the last minute to grab his stuff, because my mom and I were going to get a "surprise" ready for him when we came back from dinner. I had my mom put a note on the front door for everyone to go downstairs and wait. 6:00 rolls around and they're still busily putting together the center. 6:15, everyone was downstairs ready. You could hear everyone and I thought for sure he knew what was coming. He still didn't. at 6:25 I was trying to coax him to hurry because we had to be to dinner, and everyone was getting ansty downstairs. He knew something was up because I wasn't as persistent as normal when we need to leave somewhere and he's not in the same rush as me. He's NEVER in a rush, just takes his time. He asks, "Are you throwing a surprise party?" Of course I immediately say No. He bought it:) So when my dad finally gets him to stop and go get his stuff.. he tells ME to go get his stuff. Soon enough I persuaded him to just grab it and "SURPRISE"!!!

Here's a picture of everyone who came, minus his good friend Matt McDonald who left a little earlier.

I love my Seth. He's a good hubby and does everything he can to make and keep me happy even though I know I look past it when I'm "irritated". He still loves me and calls me his pretty:) He's a hard worker and super motivated to do what he sets his mind to. I can't wait to see him with our little man that's coming in 28 days!!! He's gonna be an awesome daddy. LOVE YOU TONS HUNNY BUNS

one last hurrah

This last weekend Seth let me take a road trip down to So Cal with my old roomies to visit a roomie that now lives in Long Beach. I loved it, all of it. Except for riding in a car being 8 months pregnant, But it was my choice, so I'm not REALLY complaining;) We got there Friday morning and got a tour of Miranda's school; went to the beach, frolicked in the water, laid out; went out to eat; met Santa Clause.

Saturday we drove to San Diego; ate at BJ's (awesome pizza & of course ended with a pizookie); went to the BYU - San Diego game; went to the San Diego Temple at night.

Drove home on Sunday.

It was a much needed vacation with my roommates. It was just like old times:) Even though I missed my hunny!

FRIDAY

I thought this was pretty funny.

calling all (previously & currently) pregnant mommies

WHERE DO YOU POSITION PILLOWS TO GET THE MOST COMFORT?!?!?

My back kills. Most all the time. Especially when I sleep on my left side, which is what you're supposed to do. Seth tried to position a pillow under me to hold up what needed support and tried to explain to me that that's where my spine wasn't straight. I'm sure he's right, but it just didn't do the trick at the moment and it's probably because I wanted instant relief. I'll take any suggestions of what you guys do to help with the back pain. I've tried the pillow between the legs, (it get's too hot & drives me crazy) I've tried putting it just right under my belly, but it never seems to stay put. So sometimes I end up sleeping on my back for a short period to try to relieve. I'm willing to try all suggestions, even if you've never been pregnant ;).....

the latest & greatest

This will be a mutli-post.

1. THANK YOU, thank you for all your ideas. It actually did help me come up with one and I will post pictures of what it is, when I'm done!!

2. My hubby hub. He's quite comical actually. Monday night I wanted to go to Fro Yo. (a frozen yogurt place) I had a hoodie on and as we're about to leave Seth asks me if it's cold enough for a jacket and I told him he might want to grab one just in case. Then he walks out of our bedroom in this. A church suit coat... laughing, he says, what about this?? Actually doesnt look too bad, but it was too nice of a suit coat to go with the rest of his outfit. I'm grateful for his funny ways and his putting up with my pregnant hormones. He's a good helper and very patient with me and my easy-to-get-irritated-by-the-stupidest-things hormone, and still tells me he loves me after those episodes;) He rubs my feet and back when they hurt, and boy have they been hurting a TON lately. I love this man.

3. Baby's first General Conference Center experience. He seemed to enjoy it and was pretty calm the whole time besides a few jungle gym moves here and there and forcing his rear as hard as he could against my belly button and his daily 5-10 minute hiccup session. Other than that I think he enjoyed it:) As did Seth and I. We got some tickets from my old roomie and her hub and enjoyed the 1st Saturday session in the Conference Center. Just a few things that really came to my attention and that I took with me was teaching and learning,(I need to continually strive to learn) loving unconditionally,(everyone I come in contact with, especially loving and SHOWING my love to husband and family) and knowing we're all children of our Heavenly Father and he will always love us and be there for us NO MATTER WHAT.

come on you slackers..

i have this magic little thing that tells me how many times my blog has been looked at each day, and NO ONE left ANY ideas! I'm serious about this, I need some ideas! Or is it because you don't want me to steal your idea?? haha. Really though ANYTHING will help. I'm leaning more toward sport themed or just decorated "boy" cute. So please comment on the blog post below with your ideas ;)
