broken streak

1 year and 2 months coming.
Tomorrow will be the first day that I don't see Seth since 1 year and 2 months ago. To me that doesnt seem that long, but some couples make it 3 yrs or more before they don't see each other! I thought I could handle it. I knew I would miss him and be completely freaked out at night (i'm kind of a scaredy cat in the dark) but I didn't realize I would feel like HALF of my entire being was missing. It's a weird, strange, hurtful feeling. I don't like it. He left me after sacrament meeting today and right when I sat down in Sunday School I had to get up and leave to go the bathroom because I couldn't hold in the tears! I blame it mostly on my crazy pregnant hormones :) I miss my man.

And to make the water works worse, I got home and saw a bunch of sticky notes everywhere. It was def sweet and I was grateful for it. Especially my goodnight kiss one:) Thanks love.
Here's a few:

in my spare time

This may be known to none, besides my husband. Why? because I only started doing this about 2 months ago.

I LOVE browsing recipe blogs and recipe sites. AND I'm spilling the beans...I actually REALLY enjoy cooking. I never thought I would, I never really cooked meals in college, just threw random things together. But ever since about 2 months ago I have tried to make a meal every night. Of course I haven't done it every night since, (who's THAT perfect? ;) ) but I have tried new recipes every time I have cooked since. Okay twice I have used repeat recipes.

I used to tell Seth that I did NOT like cooking and was almost going crazy that I had to do it for the rest of my life, until I realized I was lying to myself when I found I would look through blogs to find new things to try and cook and I LOVE IT, the cooking and all! Sometimes I even look forward to getting off work, so I can start cooking ;) (so maybe that's a little bit of a lie)

My favorite blog so far is www.favfamilyrecipes.com

Got any favorite recipes?? Send 'em my way;)

high 8 or high 9 lbs?

-After measuring me-
"You're a little bigger than normal at almost 28 weeks, were you a big baby?"
"No, I was about average."
"Hmmm."
"My husband is 6'10"."
"Ooooh.... ya..... you're probably gonna have a big boy."

28 week doc appt. this morning. Weight's a little high since last time. No more binging out on sweets for me :) and I think I'll join the neighbor lady that walks around our subdivision 12 times. Okay maybe more like 4 to start out. BUT Doc did measure me and the lil guy is bigger than average at this rate. Bring on the tallness:)

(this is at 27 weeks)

"has anyone ever told you...."

...you look like Uma Thurman?"
"Ya, actually."

I've gotten that comment, no joke, like 30 times within the last 6 or 7 years. My summer job in high school at the Country Mercantile is where I got most of them. It was a common one.

Today at work was just one more of the 30 plus times.

I think she's super pretty. MAYBE sometimes I resemble her, and that's why I hesitated to put a picture next to her.

You decide.. (none offense taken if you don't think so, cuz I don't totally see it )

.confessions.

[of a chocoholic]

So maybe I always feel the need to have a box of Milk Duds or Mini Charleston Chews in my purse at most all times.
Just a piece here and there.
I'm sure it's just a pregnancy thing.... :)

Say Hello to.....

The newest employee at Downeast Outfitters!!!

All summer I have been looking for a job. Not like going crazy to find one everyday but I had about three hookups but I preferred to not to have to work on Sunday, so I had to pass them up. I was ready to take ANY job. BUT it's been kind of nice to have a break for a few months and go swimming at any time to my hearts content, (but I'm starting to get a little big for it to not be awkward at the single housing complex pools, so perfect timing). My cousin had some hookups, got me an interview and after waiting for a week, I got a call and it was good news!!! I've never been more excited to actually have a job. Although, now, I'll have to actually start getting ready for the day :)

Pics of our new place to be coming soon. We're STILL unpacking and decorating. Oh joy.
