the land that i love

I was able to go home this passed week. I love going home. I love the openness, country smells, fields, and calmness. My mom asked me to go on a walk, farther than I wanted I'll admit, but I'm glad we did. It was a gorgeous day with awesome looking clouds. Brought my camera along and was able to capture the beauty that I grew up around and wanted to share it.

morning with daddy

Warren loves his daddy. Every morning or after every nap, I take him to Seth's office door and push it open, right when Seth looks at Warren to say hi, the lil guy gets the BIGGEST smile ever. We have yet to get it on camera.

One saturday morning, they had a little play time.

mashed peas anyone?

I decided to try giving Warren some peas the other day.

1. Because he doesn't seem to like rice cereal.
2. This kid is growing like a weed and drinking me dry.
3. Honestly, because I wanted to see his facial expressions.

Well, it didn't go over too well, but not as bad as I thought either.

SUCCESS!

Okay, okay, the smile's not because he liked them, it's because he saw us screw the lid back on. After the first couple spoonfuls, I had to squeeze his cheeks to get the spoon in, he was sealing those lips as if his life depended on it. He's kind of a stubborn little stink.

i want one

A boat. A yacht. A Ski boat. Any boat bigger than paddle boat really. A yacht because I would love to sail away and live on it for weeks at a time. A ski boat would be dreamy too. I LOVE boating, I always have. I love to ski, wakeboard, wakesurf, tube, you name it. I love being out in the middle of the open sea, or lake if you're stuck in Utah. Our fam went on a cruise when I was younger and I would walk up to the upper deck and just stare out into nothing but ocean. So peaceful, but also very nauseating if you stare too long;)

Maybe one of these fishing boats for Seth would be fun. I went to Utah Lake to take some maternity pics of one of Seth's cousins (so technically my cousin, also :)) I got there early so I could wander around and snap some photos... and now I want one...
